Our Programme

2020 Programme

We meet at the Old School House (Sutton and Wawne Museum) in Church Street, Sutton on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm promptly and finish around 9pm.
 
JANUARY 
Wednesday  8th - Annual General Meeting & an introduction to Salt Therapy by Clare from Beverley.   Best Salt Pot competition.
 
FEBRUARY  

Wednesday  5th - Talk about Modern Day Slavery by Dr. Alicia Kidd.   Prize for best 4 line poem on the subject.

MARCH
Wednesday 4th - Let's Get Arty with Wayne Woolton.   Best Artwork competition
 
APRIL
Wednesday 1st - Resolutions and Quiz night
 
MAY

Wednesday 6th - Armchair Yoga with Craig Holdstock.   Prize will be awarded to "most engaged"!

JUNE
Wednesday 3rd - Talk by Mathew Broadhead of Hull City Council "All About Rubbish Recycling".   Competition prize for best recycled rubbish.
 
JULY

Wednesday 1st - Search & Rescue by Dave Nassau.   Prize for best Dog Item.

AUGUST
No Meeting - Trip or activity may be arranged.
 
SEPTEMBER
Wednesday 4th - Ted Oxley will present "A Bit of Tia Chi".   Table prize for best Oriental item.
 
OCTOBER
Wednesday 2nd -  A Talk by Sue Woodcock: From Copper to Shepherd.    Competition prize for the best Sheep related item.
 
NOVEMBER

Wednesday 4th - Phil Walker:  You couldn't make it up!     Competition - Funniest Quote

DECEMBER

Wednesday 2nd - Christmas Celebration.   Prize for best joke
