Assistant Treasurer

A founding member of Brough Centurion WI and serving as Treasurer since it formed in 2022, it’s been so enjoyable to help to build a thriving group. I was looking for something new now that my boys have become men and I count down the years towards retirement.  In the WI I found a great new circle of friends that helped me grow and explore new interests. I continue to work full time in the NHS as Senior Head of Finance - having worked in NHS finance for 35+ years. Outside work and WI, I am actively involved in Hull NHS choir which has given me amazingly experiences like performing at Windsor at the King’s Coronation Concert and on Britain’s Got talent.  In the last couple of years I have also joined Cave Players and am really enjoying taking part in Pantomimes and Murder mystery plays.  To help me unwind after a hard day, I love crafting, baking and reading.
